Does it hurt?
Most clients are surprised by how comfortable it is! We use a premium topical anesthetic during the process to keep you comfortable. Most clients rate the pain a 2 or 3 out of 10—some even fall asleep during the session which is the BIGGEST compliment.
What Should I Expect During The Brow Healing Process?
Yes! There is zero social downtime, so you can go straight back to work or run errands immediately.
- Days 1-4: Your brows will look darker and bolder than the final result. (Don’t panic, this is normal!)
- Days 5-7: You may experience light flaking or peeling as the skin renews.
- Day 10: The color softens by about 30-40% to reveal a soft, natural finish.
How Do I Care For My Brows During The Healing Period?
To get the best results, you need to keep the brow area clean for 10 days.
- Exercise: Please avoid heavy sweating (spin class, hot yoga, HIIT, intense gym sessions, sauna, hot tub) for 10 days, as the salt in sweat can fade the pigment prematurely.
- Makeup: You can wear face makeup immediately, but please avoid putting any directly on the brows for the first 10 days to avoid risk of infection.
Will My Brows Look Natural Once Healed?
We specialize in “Undetectable” results. We prefer to start conservatively—we can always add more density at your touch-up, but we can’t take it away. Also, remember that “Fresh” brows always look darker/sharper. Once healed (after roughly 10 days), the color softens significantly into a natural, powdery finish that blends with your look.
How do I prepare?
Preparation is simple! To ensure your skin accepts the pigment well and to minimize sensitivity:
- Avoid alcohol for 48 hours and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment (this prevents bleeding/sensitivity).
- Avoid chemical peels and laser treatments one month prior or Botox in the brow or forehead area 2 weeks before and after your appointment
- Avoid using Retinol/Vitamin A products on your forehead 1 week in advance.
How long do permanent brows last?
It depends on your skin type and lifestyle!
- Ombre/Powder Brows: typically last 1–3 years.
- Nano Brows: typically last 1.5–2.5 years.
- Oily Skin: tends to fade faster than dry skin.
How do I choose between Sokkha and Cindy?
Sokkha is ideal for advanced, correction, or more customized cases. Cindy is a great fit for clients who want natural-looking results through the Brow Lady method at her artist rate.
