At our Combination Brow PMU Training, we understand the importance of providing a comprehensive and individualized learning experience. With limited spots in each class – just four students maximum – it’s easy to guarantee personal attention with all questions answered! Our courses offer a combination of online material as well as intimate in-person instruction; this approach ensures you have a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of permanent makeup. In class, we will give feedback on brow mapping, hand positioning and movement techniques to help create beautiful and precise results. We strive to impart knowledge that is both practical and emotional, so every student can emerge feeling confident in their newfound skillset. As experts in the field, we understand the complexity of microblading and strive to impart knowledge that goes beyond just technique – we also emphasize the importance of adhering to health regulations and standards throughout your PMU journey.

What is Combo Brows and what will you learn?

Combination brows are the best of both worlds; merging microblading and ombre shading techniques. Through this course, you’ll gain a better understanding of color theory, giving you the ability to select the perfect shade for your clients; master the art of drawing hair strokes and patterns without a stencil; improve your hand and finger placement skills to build muscle memory; and set up your workspace in accordance with the health department and OSHA safety requirements. With this comprehensive knowledge, you’ll be able to confidently create stunning combination brows that will have all eyes on them!

Combination Brows PMU Course (4 Days, 1 model)

Combination brow PMU courses are becoming increasingly popular for those looking to add a service to their existing beauty business or starting a completely new business all together. This comprehensive training course combines the microblading, and powder shading techniques to give you the skills you need to become a certified PMU artist. You will learn the fundamentals of each technique, plus the anatomy of the skin, color theory, brow mapping, client consultation and much more. With this Permanent Makeup training students can quickly gain the confidence and practical knowledge necessary to provide their clients with stunning results. This is a 4 day class. It includes a live demonstration model performed by the instructor and one fully supervised live model performed by the student themselves.

AAM 100 Hour Certified Combination Brow PMU Course (6 Days + 1 Shadow Day+ 6 models)

Just like the 4 day Combination Brows class, our AAM 100hr Combo Brow course is a longer and more in-depth version that is required by some towns in MA and the entire state of Maine. For those looking to begin their training, American Association of Micropigmentation (AAM) certified Combination Brow PMU courses are the ideal solution. The courses provide a comprehensive view of the procedure, including theoretical information and practical practice with models. Furthermore, the AAM does an in-depth review of the process so that all candidates receive the utmost recognition for their work. This is a 6 day course. It contains one live demo model performed by the instructor and 2 live models performed by the student under the supervision of the instructor. After the completion of the course students also need to perform and submit work of 4 unsupervised procedure in order to receive certification for a total of 6 models. Students can use our studio to perform these procedures and build their portfolio.

In the state of Massachusets, the PMU permits are regulated by city/ town’s Board of Health. Each city/town has different regulations, some require 100 hours of AAM accredited course and some don’t. That is the reason why we have two different courses.

The total cost of our Combination Brow PMU course is $4,800 without AAM certification and $6100 with 100 hours AAM certification. A $1,000 non refundable deposit is due to secure your spot. Yes we do. Brow Lady Academy graduates are given priority over other students for apprenticeship. Depending on how comfortable you are, you can chose between having a fully supervised procedure, partially assisted procedure or unassisted procedure. To learn more details please text 781-808-1650.

This is a fundamental course and no prior experience is needed to take this class.

In the state of Massachusetts, PMU is regulated based on individual town or city. Some town/city requires applicants to have 100 hours AAM certified course and some do not. If you don’t know what is required by your town or city, email us at microbladingbrowlady@gmail.com. In the email please mention the town or city that you intend to start or open your studio. Our team will do the research. We will then reach out to you to set up a quick call, to explain what is required and how to achieve it.

In order to secure a spot in our intimate classes, a $1,000 non-refundable retainer fee is due.

We accept venmo, cash app, paypal (you can finance there as well), or use a credit/debit card with a 3% processing fee.

You will receive an invoice that you can use as a tax write off once you register your own business even if it’s paid with cash.

Once a retainer fee is paid, you will get a confirmation email.

We’ll ask for documents so we can begin the process of applying for a Body Art Pracitioner’s permit! Please note that this permit (tattoo license) is required for you to do your live models. We recommend getting started ASAP.
