Best suited for clients seeking the highest level of customization, complex symmetry or shape planning, previous permanent makeup evaluation and advanced design nuance.
Nano Brows use a digital permanent makeup machine to create fine hairstrokes that mimic natural brow hair. At Brow Lady, the goal is not to make your brows look tattooed—it is to create structure that still feels like you.
Nano Brows are a machine-based cosmetic eyebrow tattoo technique that creates fine hairstrokes designed to resemble natural brow hair.
Unlike traditional microblading, which uses a manual blade, Nano Brows are created with a digital machine and needle. The artist builds the brow stroke by stroke while considering your natural growth pattern, skin, facial structure and desired finish.
The result is best suited to clients who want subtle definition without the appearance of a filled-in makeup brow.
What you see immediately after your appointment is not the final result.
Brows appear darker, sharper and more defined while the skin is fresh.
Color and stroke definition soften as the skin heals and the pigment settles.
Healed strokes should blend with your natural brow hair instead of sitting obviously on top of it.
Natural-looking Nano Brows depend on more than creating thin strokes. Direction, spacing, density and placement all matter.
We look at how your natural brow hair actually grows and build around it. The front should not suddenly become too dense, and the stroke pattern should make sense with your existing hair and facial structure.
You do not need to choose your brow technique before your appointment. Your artist can help determine which approach makes the most sense for your skin, natural hair and desired finish.
Machine hairstrokes without shading. A strong option for clients who want the lightest, most natural-looking enhancement.
Hairstrokes combined with soft shading for clients who want natural texture with additional density.
A shaded technique for clients who prefer more definition or whose skin may retain shading more predictably.
Nano Brows are especially appealing to clients who want their brows to look naturally fuller and more structured without an obvious permanent makeup finish.
Clients who want more density may prefer Combo Brows. Some very oily skin types may retain Powder/Ombre Brows more predictably. Clients who prefer a makeup-like finish may find Nano alone too subtle.
Fresh Nano Brows are darker and more defined than the healed result. This progression shows why we focus on how the brows settle over time—not just how they look immediately after the appointment.

Your healed result is influenced by more than the procedure itself. Preparing your skin beforehand and following the right aftercare can help support proper healing and pigment retention.
Review Brow Lady’s complete permanent brow before-care, aftercare and healing guide before your appointment, then save it so you can return to it during the healing process.
Both artists work within Brow Lady's natural, healed-result philosophy. Choose based on the level of experience and customization you want—not simply the price.

3 Years of Permanent Makeup Experience
A strong fit for clients seeking soft structure, natural balance and a subtle approach to machine hairstroke brows.
Nano Brows are a machine-based permanent makeup technique that creates fine hairstrokes designed to resemble natural eyebrow hair.
They can look very natural when the design, stroke direction, spacing and density are tailored to the client's existing brow hair and facial structure. Fresh brows appear darker and sharper; the goal is a softer, more believable healed result.
Nano Brows and microblading can both create hairstroke effects, but they use different methods. Nano Brows use a digital machine, while microblading uses a manual blade. The better option depends on your skin, previous work and desired result.
Nano Brows commonly last around 1–3 years, but retention varies with skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare, aftercare and individual healing.
They can, but hairstroke retention can vary on oilier skin. Depending on your skin and desired finish, your artist may recommend Combo Brows or Powder/Ombre Brows instead.
Nano Brows use a machine and needle rather than a manual blade. Both techniques intentionally work within the skin to place pigment, so some controlled skin trauma is part of the procedure. How the skin responds depends on technique, skin type and individual healing.
No. Your artist can evaluate your skin, natural brow hair, existing permanent makeup and desired finish and help you choose the most appropriate option.
