What services does Brow Lady offer?
Brow Lady provides permanent eyebrow services, Lip Blush, Scalp Micropigmentation and Fine Line Tattoos. Permanent brow services include Nano Brows, Combo Brows and Powder/Ombre Brows. Brow Lady also operates a professional permanent makeup academy offering fundamental and advanced artist education.
Does Brow Lady offer microblading?
Brow Lady specializes primarily in machine-based permanent brow techniques, including Nano Brows, Powder/Ombre Brows and Combo Brows. Nano Brows create hairstroke effects using a permanent makeup machine and fine tattoo needle. This differs from traditional microblading, which uses a handheld blade.
What is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that enhances the appearance of lip color and definition. The treatment can create a softer, more balanced outline and add a customized wash of color. Lip Blush does not physically enlarge the lips.
What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic tattoo procedure that recreates the appearance of closely cut hair follicles or adds the appearance of density to thinning areas. It may be used for receding hairlines, thinning hair, pattern hair loss and certain scalp scars.
Do you offer permanent makeup training?
Yes. Brow Lady Academy offers a 100-Hour AAM-accredited Permanent Makeup Fundamentals Program, Advanced Nano Brow Training, focused advanced classes, refresher training and apprenticeship opportunities near Boston.
Is the 100-hour permanent makeup course accredited?
Yes. Brow Lady's 100-Hour Fundamentals Program uses an AAM-accredited curriculum. Prospective students should also review the licensing and body art requirements of the city, town or state where they plan to work.
How long is the Fundamentals Program?
The 100-Hour Fundamentals Program is structured across approximately 90 days. It includes online education, intensive in-person instruction, supervised models and continued hybrid training and support.
Do students work on real models?
Yes. Eligible students complete supervised model procedures as part of the program. Students must complete the required theory, practice assignments, safety preparation and instructor evaluations before progressing to model work.
Do you offer training for experienced artists?
Yes. Qualified artists can continue their education through Advanced Nano Brow Training, focused technique classes, refresher training and apprenticeship opportunities.
Do you accept students from outside Massachusetts?
Yes. Brow Lady welcomes students from throughout Massachusetts and New England. Students traveling from another state should verify the licensing and permanent makeup requirements where they intend to practice.
