Lip color that still looks like you

Lip Blush is designed to improve the appearance of lip color, shape and definition without making your lips look stamped or overdrawn. Pigment selection is based on your natural lip tone, undertone and desired healed result.

Lip Blush enhances visible color and definition. It does not create physical volume or replace lip filler.

Built slowly so it looks believable

Scalp Micropigmentation, also known as SMP, recreates the appearance of closely cut hair follicles or adds the look of density in thinning areas. The goal is not the darkest result in one visit. It is a natural-looking result built gradually.

Professional permanent makeup training should prepare students to make sound decisions on real skin — not simply leave with a certificate. Brow Lady Academy offers structured education for aspiring artists, newly trained professionals and experienced artists seeking advanced skills.

Our curriculum is shaped by the work we perform in the studio: technical education, hands-on practice, supervised model experience, sanitation, skin and color theory, client communication, healed-result evaluation and the judgment to know when a technique should — or should not — be used.

100-Hour AAM-Accredited Permanent Makeup Fundamentals Program

Our 100-Hour Fundamentals Program is designed for students pursuing a professional foundation in permanent makeup. The program follows a structured 90-day learning format rather than attempting to teach permanent makeup in a few days.

Students complete foundational theory, safety education and video demonstrations before beginning in-person training.

Intensive In-Person Training

Students develop hands-on skills in machine setup, needle control, brow mapping, shading, hairstroke construction, Nano techniques, color selection and supervised model procedures.

Sokkha Va — AAM Diamond Trainer

Brow Lady Academy is led by Sokkha Va, founder, master permanent makeup artist and AAM Diamond Trainer. Sokkha began working professionally with eyebrows through threading and brow shaping before transitioning into permanent makeup in 2018.

As both a working artist and trainer, she teaches from current studio experience rather than theory alone. Students learn not only how to perform a technique, but how to read the skin, adjust when the plan needs to change and understand why a beautiful fresh result is only the beginning.

Sokkha and the Brow Lady team have guided numerous students through permanent makeup education, licensing preparation and supervised procedures.

Does Brow Lady offer microblading?
Brow Lady specializes primarily in machine-based permanent brow techniques, including Nano Brows, Powder/Ombre Brows and Combo Brows. Nano Brows create hairstroke effects using a permanent makeup machine and fine tattoo needle. This differs from traditional microblading, which uses a handheld blade.
What is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that enhances the appearance of lip color and definition. The treatment can create a softer, more balanced outline and add a customized wash of color. Lip Blush does not physically enlarge the lips.
What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic tattoo procedure that recreates the appearance of closely cut hair follicles or adds the appearance of density to thinning areas. It may be used for receding hairlines, thinning hair, pattern hair loss and certain scalp scars.

Is the 100-hour permanent makeup course accredited?
Yes. Brow Lady's 100-Hour Fundamentals Program uses an AAM-accredited curriculum. Prospective students should also review the licensing and body art requirements of the city, town or state where they plan to work.
How long is the Fundamentals Program?
The 100-Hour Fundamentals Program is structured across approximately 90 days. It includes online education, intensive in-person instruction, supervised models and continued hybrid training and support.
Do students work on real models?
Yes. Eligible students complete supervised model procedures as part of the program. Students must complete the required theory, practice assignments, safety preparation and instructor evaluations before progressing to model work.
Do you offer training for experienced artists?
Yes. Brow Lady provides Ready to Master Machine Hairstrokes?, advanced technique classes, refresher education and apprenticeship opportunities for qualified artists.
Do you accept students from outside Massachusetts?
Yes. Brow Lady welcomes students from throughout Massachusetts and New England. Students traveling from another state should verify the licensing and permanent makeup requirements where they intend to practice.
