Microblading found me at a low point, juggling a bartending job, a sluggish photography business, and being six months pregnant. Picture a pregnant bartender lugging camera gear—not a pretty sight! Then, out of the blue, an email about microblading caught my eye. That same night, a former coworker sent me a video about her microblading journey, saying, “Sokkha, you’d be great at this.” It felt like a sign I couldn’t ignore.
I took my first microblading class in January 2018 and opened Brow Lady Microblading Studio by June. Since then, I’ve become obsessed with perfecting the art. Seeing the confidence in my clients’ faces after a session drives me to be one of the best in New England. Every year, I hone my skills with master classes and workshops, turning my passion into a profession that never feels like work. I’m thrilled to be doing brows and even teaching others the craft at our academy.
