Appointment & Studio Policies
Please review the policies below before your appointment. By scheduling with Brow Lady, you acknowledge and agree to the policies that apply to your service.
Before Your Appointment
You do not need to know whether Nano Brows, Combo Brows, or Powder/Ombre Brows are right for you before booking.
Your artist will evaluate your skin, natural brow growth, facial features, lifestyle, and desired result during your appointment and help you choose the technique that best fits you.
If you have previous permanent makeup, please contact Brow Lady before booking so we can review the existing work and determine whether we are able to work over it.
If you have a medical condition, are taking medication, or have another concern that may affect your eligibility for permanent makeup, please contact us before your appointment.
Retainers
A retainer is required to reserve most Brow Lady appointments.
Retainers are non-refundable and are applied toward the balance of your scheduled service.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. When we reserve several hours on an artist’s schedule, we may be turning away another client for that same time.
72-Hour Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans change. If you need to move your appointment, please give us at least 72 hours’ notice.
With at least 72 hours’ notice, your retainer can be transferred to your new appointment date.
You may reschedule the same appointment a maximum of three times.
After the third reschedule, the original retainer can no longer be transferred and a new retainer will be required to reserve another appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice, your retainer will be forfeited and a new retainer will be required to book another appointment.
Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows
Same-day cancellations and no-shows leave your artist with several hours of reserved time that we are usually unable to refill.
If you cancel on the same day or do not show up for your appointment:
- Your retainer will be forfeited.
- You will need to schedule a new appointment.
- A new retainer will be required to reserve the new appointment.
If something unexpected happens, please contact us as soon as possible.
Late Arrivals
We understand that traffic and unexpected delays happen, so we allow a 20-minute grace period for late arrivals.
If you are running behind, please contact us as soon as possible to let your artist know.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will need to be cancelled.
Permanent makeup appointments require adequate time for consultation, mapping, color selection, and the procedure itself. Starting more than 20 minutes late would affect the appointments scheduled after yours, and we do not want to rush your service or another client’s appointment.
If your appointment is cancelled because you are more than 20 minutes late:
- Your original retainer will be forfeited.
- You will need to schedule a new appointment.
- A new retainer will be required to reserve the new appointment.
We recommend allowing extra travel time, especially during high-traffic hours.
Payments
The remaining balance for your service is due on the day of your appointment.
Brow Lady accepts:
- Cash
- Venmo
- Zelle
- Cash App
- Credit and debit cards
Touch-Ups & Perfecting Sessions
Touch-up pricing is reserved exclusively for existing Brow Lady clients.
If your initial permanent makeup procedure was performed by a Brow Lady artist, you may choose any Brow Lady artist for your future touch-up. You do not have to return to the artist who performed your original procedure.
Touch-up pricing will be based on the artist you choose and the amount of time since your previous procedure.
If your initial permanent makeup procedure was performed outside of Brow Lady, it is considered previous permanent makeup and is not eligible for Brow Lady touch-up pricing.
Your existing work must first be reviewed and approved by our team. If we are able to work over it, you will need to book a new service at the current new-service price.
Some previous permanent makeup may be too dark, saturated, discolored, uneven, or otherwise unsuitable to work over. In those situations, additional fading or removal may be recommended before we can perform a new procedure.
Previous Permanent Makeup
If you already have microblading, Nano Brows, Combo Brows, Powder/Ombre Brows, or another cosmetic eyebrow tattoo from another studio—even if it appears very faded—please contact us before booking.
We need to evaluate the existing:
- Shape
- Color
- Saturation
- Pigment placement
- Condition of the skin
This allows us to determine whether we can safely and realistically work over the existing permanent makeup.
Approval is not guaranteed.
If previous permanent makeup is not disclosed before your appointment and your artist determines that the procedure cannot be performed, your appointment may need to be cancelled and your retainer will remain non-refundable.
Results & Healing
Permanent makeup is a process, and every person’s skin heals differently.
Pigment retention and healed results can be affected by factors including:
- Skin type
- Body chemistry
- Age
- Lifestyle
- Sun exposure
- Skincare products and treatments
- Medications
- Aftercare
- Individual healing response
Your brows, lips, or other permanent makeup may initially appear darker or more intense immediately after the procedure. The color will soften as the area heals.
We use professional techniques and products and perform our procedures with the healed result in mind; however, a specific healed result or level of pigment retention cannot be guaranteed.
Some clients may require additional sessions to achieve their desired result. Additional procedures may involve an additional fee.
Completed services are non-refundable.
Choosing Your Brow Technique
You do not need to decide between Nano Brows, Combo Brows, and Powder/Ombre Brows before your appointment.
During your appointment, your artist will evaluate your:
- Skin
- Natural brow hair
- Brow growth pattern
- Facial features
- Lifestyle
- Desired finish
Your artist will explain which technique or combination of techniques is most appropriate and help you make the final decision before the procedure begins.
Guests, Children & Pets
Permanent makeup requires concentration and a controlled treatment environment.
Only the client receiving the service and the artist are permitted in the treatment area unless otherwise approved by the studio.
Please do not bring children who require supervision to your appointment.
Pets are not permitted in the treatment area.
If someone accompanies you to the studio, we ask that they remain respectful of other clients, artists, and the working environment.
Phones, Photos & Videos
You are welcome to take photos or short videos during appropriate portions of your visit as long as doing so does not interrupt the procedure or your artist’s workflow.
Please avoid speakerphone calls, FaceTime, or extended phone conversations during your procedure.
Your artist may ask you to put your phone away during portions of the appointment that require you to remain still.
Your Appointment Time Is Reserved for You
Many Brow Lady services require several hours to complete.
Your appointment includes more than the tattooing itself. Depending on your service, your time may include consultation, candidacy evaluation, brow mapping or design, color selection, preparation, the procedure, photography, and aftercare instructions.
Our cancellation, rescheduling, and late-arrival policies allow us to give every client the time and attention their procedure deserves.
